Almost There....Almost There....Luke Use the Force!

Things are finally wrapping up. Labeling is approved, liquor licenses acquired, juice fermented, cider ready to bottle. Sorry to keep all you cider fans waiting, but we promise it'll be worth it. Two weeks and counting before we're open and ready for sale. We're just waiting for labels to be printed and we're ready to go. So until further notice, keep your eyes peeled and your taste buds tingling.

First Batch is Underway!

After many long hours, 2 Towns Ciderhouse at 11:30pm started fermenting the first batch of hard cider. Lessons have been learned, namely honey is hard to pump and 55 gallon drums are really heavy. Now with these new insights securely digested, we are ready to proceed in our journey and we can't wait.

Refrigeration Woes

So the plant is up and running, except one tiny detail... The refrigeration unit is on the fritz - still, and without the cold room, we can't store ingredients or chill our first batch. Hopefully by tonight the unit will be back up and running again and we can pick up ingredients in the morning.

The Countdown Begins

The new facility is nearly complete and ready to start production. Hoses, wires, pipes and tools lay scattered about, but not to fear, the 2 Towns boys are almost done! With any luck (and a lot of hard work) production should begin by this weekend. Stay tuned cider lovers.
